Identity card myths

The proposed introduction of biometric identity cards has massive implications for the structure and stability of British society and yet Mr David Blunkett, the minister behind this folly, has shown little understanding of the issues and has done little to encourage serious debate concerning his foolish and dangerous proposals.  Instead of intelligent and informed discussion of a complex topic we are presented with myths.  Instead of articulate and indepth analysis we are presented with simplistic and irrelevent statements.
